Getting
Packed

| Step 2-1 |
| Get Your Shit Together |

You are probably working out of a shared studio. That's fine; we all are — if we are even that lucky. This means you have no space for anything. Therefore, we'll try not to make this worse than it has to be. We'll only have you pick up the things you need. Your back catalogue of stuff that needs to be sold is enough of a storage problem; let's not add to it.

We won't start packing yet; just getting your stuff ready. Just remember that although Uline seems like the best place to get shipping supplies, complete assholes.run the company. But fear not, there are plenty of businesses to get your things that won't give those losers your money. If you are in Toronto, you can stop by Superframe on Geary Ave. They reuse all of the ethafoam and various wrapping materials, and after a couple of uses, they end up in a pile of bags that are free for artists to take. You can walk in the door and ask for some, and they will happily give it to you. If you need more resources, REFUSE ULINE has a section for Canadian options.

Artist in the studio trying to get bubble wrap around a painting and struggling

This is how chat GPT pictures you wrapping your art. Notice the fact that even in an AI's hallucinations, there is shit piled up all over the studio, and there are bubble wrap rolls that are shorter than whatever it is that needs to go in them.
